After some requests from viewers, Forum member th3drow has added a quick 60-second youtube video showing the inside of the HP Mini 311 and specifically looking at the RAM slot.

Its quite straight forward actually. Open the back and you will have access to the Hard Drive, Mini PCI-e slot and the (1) DDR3 RAM Slot, making it super easy to upgrade compared to any other netbook.

Its also interesting to note that the HP Mini 311 comes standard with 1GB which is ON-BOARD, meaning that the RAM slot is empty and you can add either 1GB or 2GB more for a max of 3GB. We still do not know if the Mini PCI-e will be supported with third-party hardware, like mini pci-e SSDs or Wireless cards.
