The Compaq Airlife 100, which recently appeared at the FCC, has now become official at the MWC in Barcelona and carries some impressive–if not amazing–features and specs.
The Airlife will have a 10.1″ touchscreen display, 16GB SSD, SDTM card slot, WiFi (most like b/g, maybe n), 3G and camera . It will use Google’s Android OS with full multi-tasking and touch interference and have an Instant-On setup. It is also believed that the netbook–or “smartbook”–will be powered by the Snapdragon.
It also has a 12-hour battery life, with 10 days of standby!
For now it is planned to release in Europe and Latin America, under the Compaq name, but it may find itself to the U.S under the “HP Mini” branding.
