Here are the steps:
Remove the CMOS Battery.
Then Restart the Notebook.
Then reseat the CMOS Battery.
Again restart the Notebook.

They told me to take the notebook apart to solve the issue of the bios password (wasn't needed to fix that issue but hey they suggested this over what I did)... And on how to use the mini 1000 with the touchscreen I suggest turning the notebook sideways and holding it like a tablet for writing and doodling. That so far seems the way I think it will be best to use next to just using in place of the touchpad for things.. Esp since I'm running ubuntu for on the go and windows for at home.
