TRAVEL LIGHT, STAY CONNECTED
Whether computing within your home, around town and campus, or across the
country, the ultra-portable HP Mini 110 can keep you connected with built-in Wi-Fi.
It has the performance you need to surf the web and use your standard
productivity software apps — but is light enough to carry everywhere at just 2.89 lbs.
It syncs files, photos and videos easily with your primary notebook or desktop PC
whenever connected to the same network with the integrated Syncables app. After
initial Syncables setup, the file updates will occur in the background for a truly
seamless experience. The HP Mini 110: The perfect mobile companion.

ULTRA MOBILE PERFORMANCE
Based on an architecture that optimizes internet access and basic
communication, Intel® Atom processors power the HP Mini’s reliable, energy-efficient
performance. The LED anti-glare widescreen display reduces both system weight and
reflections that can distract from the visual experience. The 92% of full-size keyboard
also improves weight without sacrificing comfort. Integrated 802.11b/g wireless LAN
enables wireless access within range of a hotspot. The HP Mini 110 series:
Designed to optimize ultra mobile performance.

SURF COMFORTABLY
You depend on internet access more than ever for e-mail, instant messaging, video
chats, social networking, shopping, banking, research and so much more. The HP
Mini 110 makes it easy to stay connected everywhere you go. The built-in HP
Webcam and Skype keep you close to friends and relatives. Its near-full-size (92%)
keyboard is more comfortable for most than the thumb keys on smartphones and
PDAs. The 10.1″ diagonal LED widescreen display provides an expansive viewing
area compared to other mobile devices. The HP Mini helps keep you connected and
productive at your convenience.

FUN ON THE RUN
Stream video or playback files loaded from your primary PC via Syncables
software, a USB drive or the internet. Connect to a larger display via the VGA port to
share with others. Let Pandora Internet Radio lead you to artists likely to become new
favorites on your playlists. Use Snapfish to share photo albums online with family
and friends and to create personalized cards, memory books, posters and more in a
few simple steps. Enjoy casual gaming by Wild Tangent online or off. The HP Mini
110 keeps you entertained everywhere you go.

Beware — the battery clip and hinges on the Mini 110 shatter with normal use (less than 90 days since purchase) and HP Hardware Support will tell you it’s Not Covered by the warranty. They wanted me to pony up another $290 to fix the popped hinges — on a $303 retail machine. My Retailer already replaced the one with the broken battery clip (2 days after we got it) because it happened to them, too. So, these are a good concept but a poor execution of the thing HP expects to “put the personal back in computing.” My recommendation: Buy Dell or Lenovo.

Hi Siwek, I’m sorry about that. Most Mini 110 users have not had those same issues, but that doesn’t mean they don’t happen…

okay i just bought a hp mini 110 with window 7 starter and the problem is that i had it plugged in and unplugged it of the thought of being fully charged, was on it for 10 minutes and it said i need to plug it in, i went to grab the charger and came back the hp shut down, so i plug it in and try to on it. all i get is a light blinking besided the lighting picture.

i waited for an hour to see if it has to be charged b4 using, still the same thing happens..

I posted this in a thread on the forums, but just to clarify: The service manual says that the Compaq Mini 110 will only support a max of 1GB RAM. This is not true: The Compaq Mini is the same model as the HP Mini, and will accept up to 2GB just fine. My Compaq Mini’s running relatively smoothly thanks to this upgrade.

I’m new to this, I want to buy an HP mini netbook to use while I’m at school, but I’m not familiar with the windows OS at all. Is it possible for me to use Mac OSX on a HP mini? Please help, thank you in advance.

Hello everyone, I just bought my HP mini 110 2 weeks ago. It came with Windows 7 starter but i upgraded to Win. 7 Home Premium. I’ve also heard about the problems with the hinges but I haven’t had that happen to me just yet 0.o They do feel like a good flick can break them off. I am planning on upgrading to 2gbs of ram soon. I mainly use it for school but I”ve been running a few games on it like GTA Vice City, and few older games. Just thought I’ll throw my experience with it.

I love my mini, i’ve had it for it for two months now with no problems nothing wrong with the hinges, and glad to know it will take another gig of ram i’ll probably upgrade it as an x-mas present to myself.

I have had my HP Mini 110 for three days now, it hasn’t been off much since it came out of the box. I’ve just about got it ready to image off to a mobile for safe keeping.

Hopefully I won’t have any hinge or battery issues. I have a HP tx2510 tablet that I love, so this is a sweet addition to my cyberninja toolkit =D

    Cheers
