We knew that the HP Mini 5103 would get dual-core, but it was a surprise that the HP Mini 210 was getting a refresh too.

On twitter last night, HP CTO Phil McKinney posted two pictures with him holding two gadgets and wearing something on his wrist–the mysterious gadgets were unfortunately blacked out.
According to an HP Mini 5103 service manual there will be an upgrade coming out soon for an optional Intel Atom N550 dual-core processor.
It’s been a while since we first heard the term “Zeen”, a trademark of HP’s that we expected would refer to some sort of Slate device.
The newer HP Mini 110 version arrived to HP.com last month, but we weren’t sure about its actual specs until now.
It looks as if HP will be coming out with a new HP Mini series in the months ahead. That’s right, the HP Mini 210 series which was briefly mentioned a while back was caught on an HP Support page.
It appears that the HP Mini 110 Mi Edition, which comes with HP’s own Linux distro, has been removed from the available options of HP Mini’s at HP Home & Home Office Store. Meaning that you can no longer purchase the Mini 110 with Mi Linux.
HP has just released the Maintenance and Service Guide for the HP Mini 311. What is nice about this manual is that it not only shows how to disassemble, upgrade, etc. but it also shows the FUTURE upgrades that HP will be releasing to the HP Mini 311 series.
Doing some in-depth search on HP.com I found some product pages for the HP Mini 311, they show some of the details but they did not show the hard drive options for the Mini 311 series.
It appears to be official: HP will be coming out with the new HP Mini 311 series.
